THE CHRISTMAS season puts huge demands on the supplies of blood available for life-saving transfusions and the Irish Blood Transfusion Service is appealing to existing and new Limerick donors to give blood at clinics being held in the city.
Accident victims, those undergoing surgery, and vulnerable ill people all need the support of donors.
Donations can be made at the Caheravin Greenhills Hotel on Thursday December 28 and Friday December 29 between 1.50pm and 5.10pm.

Organisers say new donors are very welcome.
