TWO cars were stolen from one family in the Monaleen Park area of Castletroy earlier this month.
Two Volkswagen Golf Estates (one grey, one blue) were stolen between 1am and 7.45am on Saturday December 9, after thieves made their way into the kitchen of the family home and lifted both sets of keys.
“They went back outside and then used the keys to seal two cars that were parked outside,” Gardaí said.
Both cars were owned by members of the same family, and neither has so far been recovered.
Gardaí at Henry Street Garda Station are appealing to any witnesses of the thefts to come forward on 061 212 400.
