TWO men are due to appear before the courts this afternoon (Sunday) in connection with the massive €21million cocaine seizure in Foynes Port earlier this week, Gardaí have confirmed.
The two men, aged 32 and 35, were detained as part of a sweep of six arrests in the past number of days, and will appear before Limerick District Court around 3.30pm today.
According to Gardaí, the other four men have been released without charge and files are being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Gardaí said that “investigations are ongoing”.
