PEOPLE in Limerick are invited to make a wish on a virtual star to support the Mater Hospital Foundation.
The Mater Hospital Foundation’s Words of Light campaign allows people to leave a special message for loved ones, those spending Christmas in hospital, or the healthcare staff who will work over the festive period.
Funds raised during the campaign will be used to support patients across the Mater Hospital.
To leave a message and donate, individuals, families, and businesses can visit MaterFoundation.ie/WordsofLight and chose their special star.
Mary Moorhead, of the Mater Hospital Foundation, said people’s words of light would bring “comfort and hope” to those in hospital.
