A MEXICAN Christmas celebration will take place this weekend, organised by members of the city’s large Mexican community.
The ‘Posada Navideña Mexicana’ will be held at the Wickham Way indoor market and will feature traditional party games for all ages, as well as Mexican folk dancing and Christmas carol singing, and a traditional Mexican piñata.
A variety of Mexican food will also be available.
The event will take place from 5.30pm to 8.30pm on Saturday December 16, with a donation of €2 requested to cover the cost of running the not-for-profit event.
