Injury worries for Munster

Sean O'Brien has begun the graduated return to play.

MUNSTER have injury concerns ahead of Sunday’s (1pm) Champions Cup outing with Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park.

Seán O’Brien has begun the graduated return to play protocols after being removed for a HIA on Saturday and his availability will by Friday.

Simon Zebo (knee/illness), Patrick Campbell (ankle), Shane Daly (ankle), Peter O’Mahony (shoulder), Diarmuid Barron (neck), Oli Jager (leg) and Academy lock Edwin Edogbo (neck) will all take part in modified training this week and their respective availability will be determined in the coming days.

Continuing to rehab: Jean Kleyn (eye), Jack Daly (ankle), Liam Coombes (shoulder), RG Snyman (chest/shoulder), Joey Carbery (wrist), Roman Salanoa (knee), Mike Haley (hip), Cian Hurley (ankle/achilles), Niall Scannell (groin).

Meanwhile, Munster has confirmed that the URC Interpro derby against Leinster on St Stephen’s Day and the clash with Crusaders at Páirc Uí Chaoimh in February have both sold-out.

A combined total of 66,485 tickets have been snapped up for the two games.
