Brilliant Limerick ambassadors Feenagh-Kilmeedy came up agonisingly short against St Caherine’s (Cork), 2-14 to 1-15, in an epic Munster Junior Hurling Final in Mallow.

In the hunt for most of the journey, FK were dealt a blow with a sending-off in the closing quarter.

A couple of goals from Eoin Condon were crucial to the win by Catherines.

Again, Diarmuid Coleman was top-scorer for FK with 10 points.
