GARDAÍ in Roxboro Road have made an appeal for two specific witnesses to an incident on Lord Edward Street last week.
The incident took place when as a woman was walking down Lord Edward Street on Tuesday last (November 28), between 4pm and 5pm, Gardaí say.
As the woman was walking by Sarsfield Park, a car pulled up next to her and two men got out. The men pulled the woman’s cream sleeveless jacket off her then got back into the car and drove off, leaving the woman distressed and standing in the middle of the street
Despite getting quite a shock, the woman remembered seeing two eye witnesses across the street.
Gardaí in Roxboro Road are appealing for these witnesses to contact them with any information they might have.
