CHOICE Music Prize winning songwriter Moncrieff is set to play his biggest show in Limerick so far at King John’s Castle on Sunday May 5. Tickets on sale from Thursday December 7.
Moncrieff is currently on a sellout European headline winter tour which lands in Limerick next week. (that show sold out in a few hours, so early booking is advised for his castle headliner).
A couple of EPs into his career, Moncrieff obviously knows how to build soaring hooks, how to juxtapose calm verses and hugely explosive choruses as was evident in the recent hit ‘Love Somebody’. His debut album is ready for 2024 having recently been recorded between Grouse Lodge (Westmeath) and London.
Last year’s smash hit single ‘Warm’ won the RTÉ Choice Music Prize for Irish Song of the Year.
