JOE O’CONNOR from Rathkeale, the Strength & Conditioning Coach (S&C) with the Limerick team in the breakthrough win of 2018 – is to return as High Performance Manager with All-Ireland Senior Hurling Champions Limerick in 2024.

Prior to linking-up with his own county, O’Connor was S&C for a period with Clare.

He would also be familiar through his involvement with Ireland’s Fittest Family on television.

Nowadays, O’Connor is an Endurance Coach and a lecturer in Exercise Physiology & Performance Nutrition at Munster Technology University (Tralee).

Another edition to the set-up is former county player John Flavin, Monagea, as set-up coach.
