FROM the pen of journalist David Byrne of Ballysheedy, ‘Limerick: Game of My Life’ will be launched at Talking Leaves bookshop in Castletroy Town Centre on Saturday from 4pm.
It includes first-person testimonials from Limerick stars (including the likes of Seán Finn, Mike Casey, and Dan Morrissey of the present ‘Golden Era’ of Limerick hurling.
Also included are members of the famous 1973 squad (Pat Hartigan, Éamonn Grimes) who brought home the Liam McCarthy after a long absence.
There are contributions from players across eight decades running over 300 pages.
