MULTI-TALENTED Aaron Gillane came off the bench to net the winner for Creeves Celtic in their weekend 2-1 Desmond League Premier Division win at Glin Rovers.

The victory ensures that Creeves are now unbeaten in two starts.

Just 48-hours earlier, Patrickswell ace Gillane picked-up his richly-deserved Hurler of the Year, and All-Star Award, accolade in Dublin.

On Limerick’s current winning streak, Gillane commented: “One thing I can guarantee you is that you do not get sick of winning anything.”

After his impressive showing for Creeves, Gillane – along with partner, Limerick football captain Róisín Ambrose – was among the guest at the switching-on of the Annual Charity Christmas Lights at Hayes’, Shanagolden.
