GARDAÍ have issued a public appeal for information following an “incident” which occurred on a train travelling between Limerick’s Colbert Station and Limerick Junction last Thursday afternoon (November 16) that left one person injured.
Gardaí in Tipperary today (Monday) issued a public appeal for information following the broad daylight “incident”, which Gardaí say occurred on “a train that departed Colbert at 4.50pm and arrived at approximately 5.20pm at Limerick Junction”.
One person was injured in the incident, according to Gardaí, with a number of other passengers coming to their aid until the train reached its destination at Limerick Junction station, which is located in County Tipperary.
“A number of passengers on board the train came to the assistance of the injured party at the time. Gardaí are now requesting that they make contact with them,” a statement from An Garda Síochana said.
