Regional United progress in Munster Junior Cup

Courtesy of a hard-earned 4-2 win at Sallypark (Tipperary), holders Regional United progressed in the Munster Junior Cup.

Sallypark had led 2-0 nearing half-time.

Goals for the visitors came through Brian O’Connell, Kieran O’Connell, and a brace from the impressive Oleg Vysochan.

With a hopeful improvement in the weather, there are some attractive Premier League fixtures at the weekend, three of which (Fairview Rangers v Nenagh, Regional United v Ballynanty Rovers, and Charleville v Coonagh) are on Saturday evening, all 6.30pm starts.

On Sunday (11am), holders Pike Rovers host leaders Aisling Annacotty in the pick of the action.
