BARGAIN hunters will be delighted to see the annual Bilboa National School Christmas Fair return this Sunday.
The fair will take place on Sunday, November 19, at the Community Centre in Cappamore from 2pm.
Santa Claus will arrive along with Mrs Claus and Santa’s Grotto will be open for all.
Speaking on behalf of the Bilboa National School Parents Council, chairperson Roisin Bourke said: “All the children, parents, and staff have come together to make sure this fair is one of the biggest yet.”
“We are delighted to be part of this and, at the end of the day, the school and the children benefit from any funds made on the day. This year we are still fundraising for the development of the astroturf pitch at the school”.
There will be some great prizes to be won on the day. For fans of games and competition, there’s “Hang Tough” for all ages, guess the soccer player and ‘The Cube’-style games.
There will be household items along with preloved formal wear, crafts, Christmas decorations, cakes and plenty of sweet treats, bargain children’s toys, books, fuel, and of course the famous ‘Spin the Wheel’, with 13 rounds where people can win with fantastic prizes and Christmas hampers.
This year the school has set up a GoFundMe page where anybody who cant make it on the day can contribute to the cause. Further details can be found at GoFundMe.com/f/zcuyc-new-playground.
