OUR six Limerick clubs in the Energia All-Ireland League are experiencing mixed campaigns with UL Bohemians and Bruff occupying fourth place in their divisions (2A/2C), while in 1A Shannon are positioned seventh and Young Munster ninth.
Garryowen hold seventh place in 1B, and Old Crescent eighth in 2B.
Fixtures for this Saturday sees Lansdowne entertain Shannon, Young Munster at home to Terenure, Garryowen welcome old rivals St Mary’s to Dooradoyle, Old Crescent host Malone, UL Bohs will be hoping to record another home win against Ballymena and Bruff travel to Omagh.
In the Munster Junior Leagues, Thomond have made a great start and are unbeaten in Division One, while St Mary’s have also hit the ground running and are already looking a good bet to return to the top tier.
This weekend meanwhile, Limerick’s two AIL Division 1A sides, Shannon and Young Munster, will aim to return to winning ways on Saturday having lost at the weekend to Cork Constitution (24-43) and (26-24) to UCD.
Shannon are away to Lansdowne and holders Terenure College are visitors to Tom Clifford Park.
In 1B, Garryowen entertain St Mary’s Colleage at Dooradoyle.
All are listed for 2.30pm starts.
