A MID West town recently had a visit from a delegation for Sichuan who were given a tour of the town.
Shannon received a recent visit from a delegation from the Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce and Sichuan Airlines Logistics Co.
The delegation visited the town where they were met by members of Shannon Chamber and given a special presentation on the Chamber’s activities across the Mid West as well as the rich history of the Shannon Free Zone.
Also on the visit, the delegation were greeted by representatives of Ei Electronics, based in the Shannon Industrial Estate, after which they received a briefing on the company’s activities by Ei chairman and chief executive Mick Guinee.
