THREE groups in the Mid West, including two in Limerick, have been shortlisted for the KPMG Irish Independent Property Industry Excellence Awards.
Property Management Ireland (PMI), a property management agency, have been nominated in the Residential Agency Award, the Amharc Muileann housing estate run by Co-Operative Housing Ireland has been nominated in the Irish Housing Award category, while the Shannon Airport Group has been shortlisted in the Public Space Planning Award for the Sustainable Transformation of The Shannon Campus.
The awards, now in their eighth year, highlights the outstanding achievements and commitment demonstrated by each shortlisted contender.
Jim Clery, Partner, Head of Real Estate at KPMG, speaking of the finalists said: “The variety of excellent projects undertaken in recent times is very impressive. We’ve seen a strong focus on sustainability, regeneration, and excellent responses in meeting the real need for housing solutions. Having judged such strong entries, the clear indication is that the industry’s future is bright.”
Sustainability emerges as a key theme for the 2023 awards, with a strong focus on the targeted actions undertaken by industry stakeholders to improve environmental credentials and address local and global sustainability challenges.
The Gala Awards Night is Thursday, November 23, at the Convention Centre Dublin, where the winners will be announced, and one outstanding finalist will be awarded the Judges Overall Award – Sustainable Ireland Award 2023.
The Awards night will bring together more than 900 property stakeholders from various industry sectors, including construction, engineering, architects, planning, financial institutions, and professional services.
