A NEWLY-finished housing scheme in Castletroy, where tenants will pay around one third less than the average commercial rent, is now open for applications in a lottery scheme.
Approved applicants can apply for a place in the cost rental properties, which will make up half of the 113 newly finished homes in the Mill development in Castletroy.
50 per cent of the houses in the development will go to people who qualify on the local authority housing list, while the rest will go to people with an income above the benchmark for Council housing help but who can’t afford market rents or market mortgages.
