In the whirlwind of 2023, Toshín, the dynamic 6-piece band led by the formidable Toisin Bankole, has been living life in the fast lane. They kicked off the year with a bang on their nationwide Aretha Franklin Tribute tour, overseas shows in London and Berlin, to a string of top festival appearances including Electric Picnic, All Together Now and Big Grill.
Toshín is about to embark on a Irish and European tour, where they’ll be celebrating their original music, and rumour has it, there’s a new single dropping right in the midst of it all!
Toshín, led by the powerful voice of Toisin Bankole, is a vibrant 6-piece band who take their inspiration from a variety of music spanning from early Motown to modern soul/RnB artists such as Tank and the Bangas and Anderson Paak.
Their exhilarating live shows go from chilled out, to the heartfelt soul of Aretha Franklin to all-out James Brown-esque funky goodness, and has seen them play all of Ireland’s top music festivals.
They performed sold out headline shows in both Dublin’s Whelans and The Grand Social and have an album in the pipeline.
Toshín plays Dolans this Thursday November 2.
