A FAMILY who work and attend school in Limerick are featuring on the small screen, battling it out to be named Ireland’s Fittest Family.
The O’Regan family will feature in the upcoming season of Ireland’s Fittest Family on RTÉ, which kicked off on Sunday.
The O’Regans live in Kerry, but the children of the household attend school in Abbeyfeale, while both parents also work in Limerick.
This season is the 11th season of the popular show which pits families from across the country against each other to see who is Ireland’s fittest family and to win a €15,000 prize.
Coaching the families are Sonia O’Sullivan, Nina Carberry, Davy Fitzgerald and Donncha O’Callaghan.
Sunday’s challenge saw four families – including the O’Regan’s – compete for two spots in the next stage of the competition, with the O’Regan’s successfully making it through to the next stage.
The excitement continues at 6.30pm on Sunday on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
