IRISH Rail, in collaboration with the National Transport Authority, is in the process of planning annual timetable adjustments, which will be finalised in the next few weeks for implementation on December 10.
Green Party TD Brian Leddin welcomed Irish Rail’s recent announcement of an updated national timetable, which will introduce a range of new services, improvements to existing services, new stops, and journey time improvements.
“The issue that people regularly bring up with me is the lack of a service to Cork that brings you there before 9am.”
“With the introduction of the early morning service that leaves Dublin Heuston at 6am and arrives at Cork at 8.32am, Irish Rail are offering a pre-9am arrival option that has huge potential for Limerick.”
