ÓGLAIGH Náisiúnta na hÉireann’s Patrick Sarsfield branch in Limerick are holding a wreath laying ceremony in Pery Square on Sunday October 29 followed by their annual Mass in the Dominican Church at 1pm.
Members lay a wreath each year to honour all the members and those who served in Sarsfield Barracks at the monument in Pery.
There will be a short ceremony with a minute of silence and the playing of the ‘Last Post’. The members will then parade the short distance to the Dominican Church for Mass where honours will be again be paid along with a second playing of the ‘Last Post’.
