STUDENTS at a County Limerick secondary got a taste of broadcast journalism earlier this month with a special workshop.
Transition year students at Coláiste Mhuire made their first forrays into the world of broadcast journalism this month when they took part in a radio production workshop with TinPot Radio.
As part of the media industry workshop, the students of the Askeaton secondary school were taught about scripting and producing shows for radio.
Broadcast professionals took them through their paces in creating advertisements and podcasts on topics as chosen by the students themselves.
