Aisling Annacotty – surprisingly beaten 2-0 at home to Regional United – continue to set the pace in the Premier League, with Pike Rovers in second and a three-way tie for third involving Ballynanty Rovers, Fairview Rangers, and Regional.
Fairview’s jump up the table came courtesy of a 6-0 home defeat of Coonagh United, a contest in which Liam Quinn grabbed a prized hat-trick.
Next Wednesday, Limerick DL host Clare in what is certain to be an entertaining Oscar Traynor Trophy fixture at Jackman Park, 7pm.
At youth level, Limerick DL drew 1-1 away to Kerry, with the visitors’ goal coming from Cathal Downes (Aisling Annacotty).
