THERE’S an attractive fixture in the FAI Cup on Sunday when Pike Rovers welcome Lisnagry to Crossagalla.
In the same competition, Hyde Rangers stunned home outfit Mungret Regional 5-3 (AET) at the weekend.
Pa Aherne (Mungret) and Evan Shine (Hyde) both netted memorable hat-tricks, but additional goals for Hyde from Dylan Meehan (2) counted more as the Premier A side pulled-off a notable scalp.
Elsewhere on Sunday, there’s action in the Premier League with leaders (with a game in hand on Pike) Aisling Annacotty lining out against Regional United, Geraldines challenging Charleville, Nenagh taking on Ballynanty Rovers, and Newport clashing with Carew Park.
All fixtures kick-off at 10.30am.
In the Tuohy Cup, pristine Jackman Park will this Thursday (6.45pm) host Newport and Geraldines.
On the senior front, Treaty United – fresh from an excellent 3-2 win at Longford Town, helped by a brace from the outstanding Conor Barry – welcome Finn Harps in a crunch First Division tie to the Markets Field on Friday, 7.45pm.
