PAUL Danaher and John Lysaght have been confirmed as joint managers of the Limerick District League (LDL) Oscar Traynor team for 2023/2024.
Lysaght is currently manager of Premier side Aisling Annacotty, while Danaher was most recently at the helm with Fairview Rangers.
The competition, which dates back to 1963, is making a welcome re-appearance since the Covid-19 pandemic era.
Niall Byrnes (Aisling Annacotty) has been appointed LDL youths manager for the Oscar Traynor side.
This weekend’s stand-out fixture is Fairview Rangers – still hurting from Sunday’s shock 2-1 Muster Junior Cup loss at Nenagh – at home to Aisling Annacotty in the FAI Junior Cup on Saturday (6.30pm).
Meanwhile, Treaty United – who battled bravely to secure a valuable 2-2 draw at Bray Wanderers at the weekend – host Athlone Town in the League of Ireland First Division at the Markets Field on Friday (7.45pm).
The outing is the third last home fixture for Treaty.
