THERE are plenty of attractive fixtures across the Limerick Ladies Football Championship at the weekend.
In the Senior semi-finals, holders Monagea run-up against Dromcollogher/Broadford in Raheenagh and Old Mill tackle St Ailbie’s in Mungret. Both games on Sunday throw in at 4pm.
Monagea – with its four All-Star nominees Grace and Yvonne Lee, Deborah Murphy, and Karen O’Leary – and Old Mill are both tipped to advance for semi ties against Oola and Ballylanders, respectively.
In the Intermediate semi-finals, Mugnret St Paul’s meet Fr Casey’s in Askeaton (4pm) and St Brigid’s face Murroe/Boher in Cappamore (5.30pm).
Action continues also in the Junior Championship with Ahane v Gerald Griffins and Athea against St Ailbe’s.
The Ladies Senior Final is listed for Sunday October 8.
