Attempted theft of car under investigation by Limerick Gardaí

FURTHER reports of attempted car thefts in Limerick City, as an unknown man made efforts to steal a silver Toyota Aqua earlier this month.

The attempted theft took place on High Street on August 4 at around 6pm, according to Garda John Finnerty.

The Henry Street Garda explained that the would-be thief was unsuccessful in his efforts, but urged any potential witnesses to come forward.

The man is described as being around 5’8’’ and wearing “a distinctive dark blue tracksuit with a hood that was pulled up. He had his face covered”.
