A NUMBER of new courses have been launched by Kerry College ready for students looking for something exciting in the new academic year.
The Content Development for Film and TV was launched in the Monavalley campus, aimed at aspiring filmmakers and TV enthusiasts. The course covers the craft of screenwriting, developing film and television content, as well as coaching and mentoring from industry professionals to help students get industry ready.
Yogis and holistic enthusiasts will also find lots to offer, with Kerry Colleges’ Killorglin campus now offering the Yoga Teaching and Holistic Studies course.
Aimed at all from seasoned yoga pros to those just dipping their toes into the holistic waters, the course provides students with a unique skillset that will make them valuable assets in the tourism, recreation, and health and wellness industry in Ireland.
The Listowel campus has launched the Youth Work program. Those passionate about empowering young minds and making a difference in the lives of the next generation may find something in this course, which also provides an opportunity to progress to the QQI Level 6 in Community Development and Leadership also available in the Listowel Campus.
