GARDAÍ are investigating after a man was left with serious injuries following a crash between a car and a motorcycle in Limerick City on Saturday.
A man in his 20s, who it is understood was riding a scrambler bike, was seriously injured following the collision that took place on Sexton Street in Thomondgate, Limerick, on Saturday, August 19.
In a statement, Gardaí said the incident occurred at approximately 1.20pm on Saturday afternoon.
“Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a two vehicle road traffic collision which occurred on Sexton Street in Thomondgate, Limerick, on Saturday the 19th August 2023,” the statement said.
“The collision involved a car and a motorbike and occurred at approximately 1:20pm.”
The man was taken to University Hospital Limerick to be treated for serious injuries.
No other injuries have been reported as a result of the collision.
