HOLDERS Munster are up-and-running in the Women’s Interprovinical Championship following a splendid 41-14 way win over Ulster.
In the opening-half, Stephanie Carroll scored a brace of tries with Clodagh O’Halloran dotting down for one, which Kate Flannery converted.
Munster pulled clear after the break thanks to tries from Róisín Ormond, Ellen Boylan, Brianna Heylmann and Carroll (her third).
Flannery and Aoife O’Shaughnessy both landed conversions in the second half.
Munster welcome Connacht to Musgrave Park on Saturday (3.15pm).
