Limerick residential vacancy rates higher than national average

RESIDENTIAL vacancy rates (RVR) in Limerick were slightly higher than the national average across the month of June.

That’s according to the recent Residential Buildings Report by GeoDirectory, which showed RVRs across County Limerick standing at 4.1 per cent for the month.

Nationally, the RVR was just 3.9 per cent, the lowest rate recorded by GeoDirectory to date.

Dublin showed the lowest RVR at one per cent, while County Leitrim saw the highest at 12.2 per cent.

The report also found the average residential property price in Limerick to be €264,512 in the year leading up to May 2023, lower than the €366,291 national average.
