A LIMITED number of team slots are available for the upcoming STL (Shannon Transport Logistics) Pro-Am at Newcastle West on Saturday fortnight, August 19.
Last year’s clear-cut winning team was that of Dermot Doolin, Seán Herlihy, and Dominic Foley, along with professional Michael McGeady.
Last year’s winning pro was Shane Jenkinson (The Island GC), who carded a superb six-under par round of 65.
The current Irish PGA (Professional Golf Association) Order of Merit is headed by Limerick’s Tim Rice.

The pro prize-fund for the classic is €15,000.
