Irish Youth Wind Enasmble to play special concert in Limerick

ONE OF Ireland’s top wind ensembles will play a special concert in Limerick early next month.

The Irish Youth Wind Ensemble, Irelandโ€™s premier wind ensemble, led by artistic director Ronan Oโ€™Reilly, will be performing a concert on Sunday August 6 at 3pm in the Redemptorist Church in Limerick City.

The talented young musicians will be performing a selection of music specifically written for wind bands, as well as presenting a unique repertoire of classical and contemporary works including music by Gustav Holst, Michael Sweeney, Warren Barker, Serge Lancen, and Bert Appermont.

Tickets for the concerts are โ‚ฌ20 (with โ‚ฌ10 concessions) and will be available on the door.
