No change for Limerick’s All-Ireland Final starting 15

MANAGER John Kiely has announced his starting selection for Sunday’s All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final showdown with Kilkenny at Croke Park. 

Ruled-out through injury for even the matchday squad is four-time winning captain Declan Hannon, for whom Cian Lynch will deputise as skipper.  

The side is identical to that which started in the semi-final defeat of Galway at the same venue a fortnight ago.  

Aidan O’Connor of Ballybrown is promoted to the substitutes in place of the injured Richie English.   

Limerick: Nickie Quaid; Mike Casey, Dan Morrissey, Barry Nash; Diarmaid Byrnes, William O’Donoghue, Kyle Hayes; Darragh O’Donovan, Lynch; Gearóid Hegarty, David Reidy, Tom Morrissey; Aaron Gillane, Séamus Flanagan, Peter Casey.
