ELECTRO-ROCKERS Post Punk Podge & The Technohippies play Pharmacia this Saturday July 22 in the build up to their show at this year’s Electric Picnic.
Full lineup has been confirmed, Bleak Stack support and a DJ set from Jack Brolly happens after the show.
PPP, after a star turn in the film ‘Out Of Place’, is currently recording his new album following up on 2021’s debut LP, ‘Euphoric Recall’ acclaimed by many supporters on bandcamp.com as a serious contender for album of the year.
The album is full of electro bangers including the acclaimed 2020 single ‘Hard Man’ features and follow up release ‘Panic Prevention’ is a rousing anthem of resilience in overcoming anxiety and panic attacks.
As you would expect, Podge is sharp and brutally honest in his observations on social media “static and interference from far right jackals and racist hyenas” (Zoo) and addiction “I got higher and higher til I hit dark clouds.” (Only, LoveSong).
