NEW signing Jordon Tallon is likely to be named by manager Tommy Barrett in the starting XI for tonight’s (Friday) Airtricity League First Division outing with Waterford United at the Markets Field (kick-off 7.45pm).
Versatile Tallon, who has joined from Wexford FC, was introduced in the weekend 3-2 win over Kerry in Tralee. He previously was attached to Shamrock Rovers.
Ahead of the trip to the Kingdom, the 22-year-old told the club’s website: “I’m delighted to sign for Treaty United, and I’m buzzing to get started with the lads for a big push in the second half of the season and get them to a play-off place.”
“Also, I got stick off the Treaty fans in the reverse fixture down in Ferrycarrig so I’m buzzing to play in front of them as they had a great atmosphere.”
Treaty (v Kerry): Shane Hallahan; Ben O’Riordan, Andy Spain, Darren Nwankwo, Marc Ludden (captain); Lee Devitt, Colin Conroy; Willie Armshaw, Stephen Christopher, Dean George; Enda Curran. Substitutes: Mark Walsh, Jordan Tallon for Conroy, Colin Kelly.
