THE GARRYOWEN RFC grounds in Limerick will play host to a sporting event of international proportions this weekend.
Sunday July 9 will see UL Vikings take on the Louth Mavericks in the American Football Ireland Division 1 Bowl final.
Established in 1999, the UL Vikings are the University of Limerick’s American football team, who have previously won three IAFL Shamrock Bowl titles and an Atlantic Cup.
Their clash with Louth Mavericks this Sunday, July 9, will take place at 2pm.
The free event will see food, a bar, and face painting in a fun day out for all the family.
