THE new single from Dylan Flynn & the Dead Poets is ‘Why’ featuring singer/songwriter Laura Duff. ‘Why’ combines dream-pop textures with Americana rock song writing. The lyrics detail a relationship that is starting to fray around the edges, following two people who want to get inside each other’s heads. Dylan and Laura take a verse each and as the song builds into a huge anthemic chorus. Up to now this song was an album track on their recently released debut album ‘How Are You Feeling Today’
Dylan commented, “From the first demo, we knew it was something special. We decided to keep it as an album track. I’m glad we did, because the new version we have now breathes a whole new life into the lyrics. Laura’s vocals really brought the track to life.”
