On Monday, Enda Bolger’s Stealthy Tom, under a well-judged waiting ride from Mark McDonagh, won the Tote Connacht National Handicap Chase of €24,000.

He was in the colours of JP McManus and was returned at odd of 10/3.

Bolger stated: “He’s a progressive little fella and I can’t wait to get him back to Punchestown again for the La Touche next year.”
