AT THE upcoming Garden Festival at the Milk Market on Sunday June 18, the organisers have planned an extensive programme of expert talks, masterclasses, workshops, music, and children’s entertainment alongside its 50 garden, plant, craft, and food stalls from all over Ireland.
The stage will see local, national, and international experts on the festival day. Two local garden centres are sending their top experts on the stage with Philip Moreau speaking about his journey in gardening with his talk ‘The Prodigal Son’ at 1pm and Tom Giltenane of D&M Garden Centre speaking showcasing at 2.30pm.
Talks will be kicked off by master organic gardener Kitty Scully in conversation with host and founder of the Organic College, Jim McNamara, who will be rounding out the day with his own talk at 4pm.
There will be two short talks on wildflowers and wild food by stallholders on the day also.
The Limerick Garden Festival will be held in the Milk Market on Sunday June 18. The daylong festival will feature plant, garden, and food traders from across Ireland, with something in store for all the family.
