URC champions Munster are en route to Limerick for a major homecoming celebration to be held tomorrow (May 29) in the Treaty City.

The celebrations were confirmed by MunsterRugby.ie, who said that the event will take place from 6pm on Monday evening at Munster’s home ground in Thomond Park, with the squad and management team expected to arrive around 7pm.

Entry will be free of charge, but those hoping to attend must register for a ticket here.

The statement added that a small number of players from the URC-winning team will not be in attendance “due to prior travel commitments”.

Champions Munster are also set to take off on a celebratory trophy tour across the province to celebrate the historic win. Clubs and schools who wish to express interest in welcoming the team in their celebrations can contact [email protected]
