THREE units of Limerick Fire and Rescue service were dispatched to a fire in a city centre apartment block last night.
The incident happened at around 9pm at Mount Kenneth apartments, just off the Dock Road.
It is understood that a number of residents were evacuated from the building as a precaution.
Firefighters from the Mulgrave Street Station attended the scene and brought what is understood to have been a small fire under control within an hour.
