A LIMERICK man with the gift of the gab hopes to be the toast of the town at the International Toastmasters Conference in Liverpool later this month.
Accomplished public speaker Mark Quinn, of the Thomond Toastmasters Club in Limerick City, will represent the club at the semi-finals of the humourous speech contest on May 26 after winning club and area contests earlier this year.
Mark, who is also a longstanding member of the Shannon Rowing Club, will be competing against speakers from all over the UK and Ireland in a bid to come out on top in one of the most prestigious events on the Toastmasters calendar.
