LIMERICK’S Kieran Earls emerged a winner on the World Pitch and Putt Tour in Spain over the May Bank Holiday Weekend.
The 31 year-old, who is a member of the Bruff Pitch and Putt club, finished on 21 under par for the 54-hole tournament at Lleida, the capital city of its namesake province in Catalonia.
He carded rounds of 48 (-6), 47 (-7) and 46 (-8) to emerge a comfortable winner of the tournament. Remarkably, Earls didn’t drop a single shot across his three rounds.
The County Limerick man won the Irish national matchplay championship in 2020 and the Munster Matchplay championship last year.
