SAFETY NET GP surgery has opened its doors in Castletroy to walk in-patients and patients wishing to be seen by appointment.
The surgery opens until 6pm in the evening for walk in-patients and 10pm for appointments Monday to Friday. Weekends and appointments will see the surgery accepting patients by appointment only.
The new surgery is run by registered specialists in general practice with many years of experience in the Irish health system.
Services offered at the surgery include child health, GP services, childhood and adult immunisation, maternity care, travel vaccination, minor surgery, illness certification and phlebotomy services.
Changing rooms facilities, disabled access and toilets, and free parking will also be on offer.
Fees for adults are €50s, with a lower €30 fee for children, pensioners, unemployed adults and students with college ID.
The surgery has contacted the HSE for a GMS number so that it can start seeing patients with under-6 cards, over 70s cards, and medical cards.
