LIMERICK entertain neighbours Clare in the Munster Minor Hurling Championship at the Gaelic Grounds on this Tuesday, throw-in 7pm.
The championship is again being run-off on a league format, with both Limerick and Clare winning their opening round fixtures.
At a drenched Fraher Field in Dungarvan, the Evan Loftus managed Limerick side squeezed past Waterford (1-7 to 0-7). The only goal arrived in the opening-half from Cathal Hayes of Newcastle West.
In front of a sell-out crowd at Wolfe Tones (Shannon), Clare impressed in a 2-15 to 0-14 defeat of Tipperary. Mark O’Brien hit 1-4 for the winners, while Michael Collins contributed 1-2.
