IT IS Open Week at the Kerry College of Further Education and Training and the Tralee and Listowel campuses have been alive with activity.
A number of events have been taking place across the Kerry College’s campuses to give prospective students a first-hand glimpse into the educational opportunities on offer in the south west.
With two days left in the Open Week (Thursday February 23 and Friday February 24), the Manager of the Admissions Office, Elaine O’Connor, is encouraging potential students and parents to join the fun and find out more about the range of courses and apprenticeships on offer.
A special apprenticeship information event will be held on the Monavalley Campus on Thursday February 4 with more than 30 employers exhibiting.
Teachers, tutors, and guidance and support teams will also be on hand to talk about career options to attending second-level school groups and individuals.
Guided campus tours will be held between 9am and 3pm daily, and can be booked on 066 714 9696 or by email on [email protected].
Visitors with a taste for adventure will be able to test their underwater breathing skills with a scuba respirator, try their hand at surfing, and challenge their balancing prowess on a tight rope.
