SMALL businesses and budding entrepreneurs will have a choice of over 200 online and in-person events to help them to start or grow their business during Local Enterprise Week 2023.
The national initiative, developed by the Local Enterprise Office and supported by Enterprise Ireland, will take place from March 6 to 10 this year across the country.
This year, the Local Enterprise Office (LEO) has developed the Key Principles series, which focuses on highlighting best practice for companies – including green, digital, sales, and finance and – of course – networking events to encourage entrepreneurs to support one another and their businesses.
There will also be an idea generation workshop to help new entrepreneurs develop ideas and an introductory day for those planning to start their own business.
Mike Cantwell, Head of Enterprise at LEO, said: “Local Enterprise Week is a fantastic marker in the road for any business. It’s an opportunity to take stock of where you are, see where you can grow, where you can innovate, or maybe become more sustainable and see what resources are available on your doorstep.”
“There is something for everyone and for those who maybe always had that ambition to start on their own, or a have idea, this is the week to see how to get started and make it happen. There are hundreds of events taking place all over the country covering everything from exporting and digital to going green or growing that idea.”
